This band had me wowed a long time ago when I first heard the song "We move" on their myspace, now with the release of their debut album "We were like sharks" they have risen to success and with good reason.
This City mix hardcore/indie and punk into one powerful musical concoction. Some people have a problem with the lead singer's accent soaked voice but it grows on you and soon you come to realise it suits the music perfectly.
Songs like "Moving Parts" and "Black & Blue" show of the bands ability to make heavy melodies and other songs such as "Picture This" & "Colours" are far more melodic and listener friendly.
All in all this album covers all the bases and if you start to like This City's sound then you'll grow to love it.
